How to Access a Public Survey Link in REDCap

Instructions

Before you begin, ensure public surveys are enabled for your electronic patient-reported outcome (ePRO) and study. Contact your study coordinator for more information.

To access your Public Survey options, click Survey Distribution Tools from the Data Collection menu in the left-hand toolbar and switch to the Public Survey tab on the top. You will be provided with a variety of link actions that will help you access and distribute a survey.

 

 

  1. Click the copy text icon and paste the URL into an email to send to the participant (1).

  2. Click Survey Access Code or QR Code button to retrieve access/QR codes for the participant (2).

  3. Click Open public survey to open the public survey URL in your browser. (3).

  4. To open a public survey and log out of your REDCap account (for cases when handing over the tablet/computer to a participant) use the Open public survey + Log out button (4).
