Managing User Accounts

Platform Administrators can view and manage all users across the platform and can perform the same account management procedures as Project Administrators (See Managing Projects). Additionally, they can disable user accounts to prevent continued access to the platform.

Platform Administrators cannot be added to a Project with a Project member role (Contributor, Collaborator, Project Administrator, or custom Project role). If a Platform Administrator anticipates the need to also become a member of a Project team in a research data science capacity, they should consider holding two accounts - one for the Platform Administration duties, and one for their regular data science activities.
