ONDRI Foundational Study Baseline Data Release Dashboard - Data Package Selection Walkthrough Guide

The ONDRI Foundation Study Baseline Data - Release 1 Dashboard displays key information regarding the ONDRI Data Packages available for release and allows you to build your Data Access Request.

Below are instructions on how to interact with the Data Package Selection page to build your Data Access Request.

Filter/Search Packages pane

Filter the data packages represented in the Explore/Select Data Packages table (3).

Available filters include:

  • Disease Cohort

  • Data Platform

  • Keyword (Search)

  • Instrument Name (Search)

  • ONDRI Package Code (Search)

1b

Reset Filters

Reset all selected filters in the the Explore/Select Data Packages table (3).
This will not reset any packages that have been added to your request (4a).

Explore/Select Data Packages table

Includes all data packages available for release. Click a row to highlight one data package. Hold down the ctrl key to highlight multiple data packages for adding to your request or viewing their data dictionaries below (2b).
Hover over the Description column to read the full description.

Variable Definitions for Highlighted Packages table

Click a package in the Explore/Select Data Packages table (2a) to review its data dictionary here.
Data dictionaries include variable names and definitions.

Build your Data Request action pane

Build and edit your Data Release Request with this action pane.

You are able to add all filtered (visible) packages or add only highlighted packages from the Explore/Select Data Packages table (2a) to your request. You can also edit your Data Release Release by removing highlighted packages or removing all packages from the Data Packages in Request table (4a).

Data Packages in Request table

This table shows all data packages in your request. Click a row to highlight one data package. Hold down the ctrl key to highlight multiple packages for removal.

Request Summary

Shows the number of data packages, data platforms and cohorts in your requested packages list.

Proceed to Review & Submit Request button

Click this button to navigate to the Review & Submission page.

 

How to Build a Data Request

Adding Packages to a Request

Packages can be added to a request by two methods:

Method 1: Filtering data packages to add to request
  1. Use the Filter/Search Package pane (1a) to filter and drill down to a specific subset of data packages in the Explore/Select Data Packages table (2a).

  2. Click the Add all filtered packages button in the Build your Data Request action pane (3).

  3. Review package selection in the Data Packages in Request table (4a).

Method 2: Highlighting data packages to be added
  1. Review the Data Packages in Request table (4a) and click to highlight a particular package. Hold down the ctrl key and click additional rows to highlight additional packages.

  2. Click the Add highlighted packages button in the Build your Data Request action pane (3).

  3. Review package selection in the Data Packages in Request table (4a).

Removing Packages from a Request

Packages can be removed from a request by two methods:

Method 1: Removing all packages from request
  1. Click the Remove all button in the Build your Data Request action pane (3).

  2. Data Packages in Request table (4a) will become empty.

Method 2: Highlight data packages to be removed
  1. Review the Data Packages in Request table (4a) and click to highlight a particular package. Hold down the ctrl key and click additional rows to highlight additional packages.

  2. Click the Remove highlighted packages button in the Build your Data Request action pane (3).

  3. Highlighted packages have been removed from the listed Data Packages in Request table (4a).
