A Controlled Data Release is a mechanism used by Brain-CODE to release data to approved researchers or groups following submission and approval of a Data Access Request. Access to data via Controlled Data Releases will typically be granted through a Brain-CODE Workspace.

Yes, Research Ethics Board approval that pertains specifically to the use of data being requested from the controlled data release (or an exemption letter), is required for researchers to gain access to data released under the controlled data release process. |
