Install Client

1. Visit www.Go to https://tunnelblick.net/downloads.html and click the Downloads tab.

   Choose the Stable download link. download the latest stable release of the installer. 

   

2. Open the installation file and double click theTunnelblick icon. Ensure you have administrator privileges to complete the installation.
   

3. Once completed, a Tunnelblick icon will appear in the menu bar.

   

Move Configuration Files and Connect

1. The Centre for Advanced Computing (CAC) provided configuration files are required to proceed. Download these zip files from your email. They Prior to connecting to the VPN you will need to move your VPN credentials zip file (received after Workspace approval) into Tunnelblick.
   

2. Unpack the VPN credentials zip file on your desktop. The file will contain:

   1. Personal Information Exchange File

   2. KEY file

   3. OpenVPN Config File
      

3. Drag the configuration file to the Tunnelblick menu bar icon.

   

4. Once the configuration file is installed, select the Tunnelblick icon in the top menu bar and connect to the VPN by entering credentials provided by CAC.
   

5. You are now successfully connected to the VPN.

6. with the provided password. You are now ready to connect to the Workspace via a remote desktop connection.
   

7. Open the Remote Desktop app. If you have not connected to a remote desktop before you will need to install this from the App store. 
   

8. A Remote Desktop Connection window will appear, click Add PC, enter your Workspace’s IP in the PC name field and then click Add.

9. Now double click on the entry you created. You should now have access to your analytics Workspace.
