Before you begin ensure you are connected to the appropriate VPN. |
Open the “Remote Desktop” Remote Desktop App.
This should already be available on your computer and will not require an additional download.
You can find the application by using the
“Search”Search tool located on the taskbar.
Click “Add” Add to create a new connection profile - . Once connected, a workspace window will appear for you to begin your analysis.
Select “Desktop” Desktop.
Under the “PC name” PC name field, enter either the IP address or the hostname for your assigned Workspace (provided upon Workspace access approval by The the Centre for Advanced Computing [CAC]).
When you hit “Save” Save, a new entry will appear under your saved desktops.
Open this entry and enter your username and password when prompted. Once entered, you should now have access to your analytics workspace.
