What is Portal?

The Portal is a centralized hub that researchers may use to access the Brain-CODE data capture systems, dashboards, and study data releases. You can request an account from your study manager or you may request a public account by visiting braincode.ca and signing up.

  • Portal is your one-stop-shop to access the sub-platforms and tools provided as part of the Brain-CODE infrastructure.

Why

Why was Brain-CODE developed?

By collecting data elements across diseases in a standardized manner, deep comparisons across data modalities can be made within one single brain disorder, but so too can deep comparisons begin to be investigated across brain disorders. Brain-CODE aims to facilitate data-driven discovery in neuroscience unlike ever before.

Where can I access Brain-CODE?

You can access the Portal to Brain-CODE by visiting www.braincode.ca

Who

Ontario Brain Institute (OBI)

The Ontario Brain Institute is a provincially‐funded, not‐for‐profit research centre seeking to maximize the impact of neuroscience and establish Ontario as a world leader in brain research, commercialization and care. Convergent partnerships are created between researchers, clinicians, industry, patients, and their advocates to foster discovery and deliver innovative products and services that improve the lives of those living with brain disorders. For more information visit https://braininstitute.ca.

Integrated Discovery Programs (IDPs)

OBI funds several Integrated Discovery Programs (IDPs) spanning many areas of neurodevelopmental disorders. For more information visit https://www.braincode.ca/content/research-programs.
